- Usage Metrics: We track the number of scans performed by each user. This data is used to manage subscription limits and to improve the accuracy of our AI Pulse Engine.
- Nutritional Data: Information generated from your menu scans, including calories, macros, and match scores, is stored in your personal "Restaurant Vault" for your historical review.
- Device Information: We may collect data about your mobile device, including model, operating system, and unique device identifiers to ensure performance compliance (targeting < 5% battery drain).
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data for the following purposes:
- To provide, maintain, and improve the NutraNexus Decision Engine.
- To personalize your experience based on your persona and dietary mood.
- To monitor and analyze usage trends and scan counts for subscription tier management.
- To process native in-app purchases and verify subscription status.

4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Firebase (a Google service) for authentication and data storage. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
5. Data Deletion and Your Rights
In compliance with Apple and Google Play store requirements, we provide a "Delete Account & Data" option within the User Settings. When you initiate this process:
- Your email and authentication profile are permanently removed.
- All scan history, Vault entries, and personal metrics are wiped from our servers.
- Any active Google/Apple connected accounts are disconnected.

NutraNexus may use third-party services that collect information used to identify you:
- Google Play Services / Apple StoreKit (for In-App Purchases)
